چکیده
Background: Spinal anaesthesia is the most preferred regional technique as it easy to perform, economical and produces rapid onset of complete muscle relaxation. The aim intrathecal localanaesthetic provide adequate sensory motor block necessary for all infra umbilical surgeries.Aims Objectives: study compare Onset Duration Sensory Block; andDuration Motor Block other factors in two groups i.e., Hyperbaric Bupivacaine 0.5% with Clonidine 30μg&Hyperbaric Magnesium sulphate 50 mg when given intrathecally.Materials Methods: A Comparative three group randomized clinical 90 patients 30 patientsin Group C (Clonidine), M (Magnesium) N (Normal saline) studythe block, changes hemodynamics side effects. Results: Our has demonstrated that Intrathecal clonidine (30 mcg) prolonged post-operative analgesia alongwith earlier duration blockade compared both magnesium (50 mg)and control.Intrathecal mg) also increased analgesic control but wasassociated delayed control. Conclusion: can be a good alternative adjuvant hyperbaric bupivacaine comparedto others like fentanyl, magnesium, midazolam, ketamine etc. provides early motorblockade analgesia.

Comparision of Dexmedetomidine and Clonidine as Adjuvants to 0.25% Bupivacaine in Paediatric Caudal Block for Infraumbilicalsurgeries
Background: Caudal block is a common technique for paediatric analgesia but has disadvantage of short duration of action after single injection. Various adjuvants were tried with local anaesthetics to prolong duration of post-operative analgesia in caudal block. This prospective study was designed to assess and compare the efficacy of clonidine and dexmedetomidine used as adjuvants to bupivacai...

BACKGROUND AND AIMS Use of various adjuvants to spinal anaesthesia is a well-known modality to provide intra- and post-operative analgesia. This study was designed to evaluate and compare the analgesic efficacy of clonidine and magnesium when used as an additive to intrathecal 0.5% hyperbaric bupivacaine. METHODS Ninety patients of the American Society of Anesthesiologists' physical status gr...
متن کاملIntrathecal Buprenorphine, Clonidine and Fentanyl as Adjuvants To 0.5% Hyperbaric Bupivacaine In Lower Abdominal Surgeries: A Prospective, Randomized And Comparative Study
Background: Among all the spinal adjuvants, clonidine, an alpha-2 agonist has the ability to alleviate both the somatic and visceral pain and is more potent at spinal site, favoring its neuraxial administration. Objective: This study was done to compare the onset and duration of sensory and motor blocks, duration of analgesia, haemodynamic and adverse effects of Clonidine, buprenorhine and fent...

Background and objectives: Subarachnoid block is most versatile regional block commonly employed for infraumbilical surgeries. The use of neuroaxial opioids has gained widespread popularity as they potentiate the analgesia produced by local anesthetics. Hence the present study was undertaken to evaluate the effects of intrathecally administered fentanyl (25mcg) on the characteristics of hyperba...
